iGeo
Terms of Service
For the iGeo mobile application and the iGeo backend services.
Last updated 8 August 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Makers Infotech Services, India (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using iGeo you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
What iGeo is — and is not
iGeo is a listing platform. It lets people publish land and property they want to sell, and lets other people browse those listings on a map and contact the person who posted them.
Listings are created by users, not by us. Treat everything on iGeo as a starting point for your own enquiries. Before you commit money to a property, verify title and approvals independently and take professional advice. Any agreement you reach is strictly between you and the other party.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Give accurate details when you register, and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at contact@makersinfotechservices.com if you think someone else has access to it.
- One account per person. Do not impersonate anybody.
What you post
You keep ownership of the listings, photos, videos and messages you create. By posting them you give us permission to store them and to show them inside iGeo so the app can function — nothing more. We do not sell your content or use it for advertising.
You agree not to:
- list a property you have no right to sell, or misrepresent its price, size, location, ownership or legal status;
- upload photographs you do not have the rights to, or that show somebody’s private property without permission;
- harass, threaten, defraud or spam another user through the messaging feature;
- upload anything unlawful, or attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service;
- scrape or bulk-extract listings or user data.
We may remove a listing or suspend an account that breaks these rules, or that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent.
Photographs and privacy
Photos you upload have their embedded metadata removed before storage, including the GPS coordinates a phone camera records. Stored images are served from a public content address: the address is unguessable and is not listed anywhere, but anyone who obtains the link can view the file. Do not upload anything you would not be willing to show to someone who had that link.
How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy policy.
Cost
iGeo is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in future we will make the price and terms clear before you are charged, and you will never be charged without choosing to pay.
Availability
We work to keep iGeo running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may need to take the service down for maintenance.
Ending your use
You can stop using iGeo at any time and delete your account from the account screen, or via our account deletion page. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from a transaction between users, from the accuracy of a listing, or from your reliance on anything published by another user. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do we will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use iGeo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
